Safe For Humans

The major concern with industry standard sterilization technologies used today is that exposure to higher nanometer wavelengths of UV light can cause harm to the retina and epidermis layer of the skin. However, through our proprietary manufacturing process, we are able to generate UV light exclusively within the 200 to 220 nanometer (nm) spectrum, that is safe for humans, but still kills 99.9% of all viruses and bacteria. These wavelengths cannot cause damage to the retina or epidermis layer due to the lower level of energy emitted – as illustrated in the below animation.

Our technological and competitive advantage is our proprietary manufacturing process to create LED UV-C Modules that can limit UV light emissions to only the specific wavelength(s) desired without using any filter media. For example, we can create the exact spectrum needed to eradicate pathogens at 218 nm.
